AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In a message, the head of Iran’s Seminary expressed his condolences on the passing away of Ayatollah Sheikh Mohsen Ali Najafi, one of the scholars of Pakistan.
The text of Ayatollah Arafi's condolence message is as follows:
In the name of God
The news of the passing away of Ayatollah Sheikh Mohsen Ali Najafi caused a lot of sadness and grief.
The deceased Ayatollah always dedicated his honorable life to promoting the teachings of the Quran and the school of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, and during his blessed life, he was like a refuge for the Muslims of the world, especially the noble nation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The establishment of permanent religious and cultural centers, including the Al-Kawsar community, the establishment of public and charitable institutions, such as a hospital and the University of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, supporting and guardianship of orphans and the poor, as well as the teaching and interpretation of the Holy Quran, the education and training of students of Pakistan, efforts to bring closer and create unity between Islamic religions and interaction with scholars and thinkers of the Islamic world, are some of the efforts and services of that enlightened scholar during his life.
On behalf of myself and the seminaries of Iran, I offer my condolences on the passing away of that wise scholar to Hazrat Baqiyatullah Al-Azam (PBUH), and the scholars, Muslim thinkers, devotees and students, especially the seminaries and the children of the deceased.
I pray for that pious scholar's felicity and divine forgiveness, and for the survivors, patience and a great reward.
Alireza Arafi
Head of seminaries of the Islamic Republic of Iran
