The statement of the Majma' Ahlulbait Malaysia about strike is as follow:
The " Kepung Demi Palestine" ("Siege for Palestine") picket for 6 days starting last night 26Dec23 is an initiative of Malaysians who care and in support of the Palestinians especially the people of Gaza who are still besieged by Israeli Zionists. The picket around the American embassy in Kuala Lumpur is symbolic of this siege and urging Israel and its allies and supporters led by the United States to immediately stop the siege and killing of Palestinians who until 24 Dec 23 as many as 20,424 Palestinians have been killed.
Hauzah arRedha Malaysia, Malaysia Shia Imamiyyah Ja'fari Civil Society@Masijm and Majma' Ahlulbait Malaysia express their highest appreciation to 48 NGOs from the community, youth, students, artists and political groups who will camp here until Sunday.
These NGOs are MAPIM, Viva Palestina Malaysia, Yayasan al Quds Malaysia, Malaysian Women's coalition for al Quds & Palestine and others.
Finally, we pray for victory from God to the Muqawamah struggle of the Palestinian people and their defenders against the genocidal criminals and terrorists of Israel and its allies led by America.
