AhlulBayt News Agency: The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday that the number of Israeli occupation aggression victims has increased to 19,667 martyrs and 52,586 injured.
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qudra, confirmed that health teams detected 355,000 cases of skin and infectious diseases, with the number likely to be much higher.
The ministry called on international institutions to work to provide adequate water, food, and appropriate health care in shelter centers, especially what is needed for more than 700,000 children, 50,000 pregnant women, and 350 chronic patients, including 1,100 dialysis patients and thousands of wounded.
Al-Qudra confirmed that hospitals in southern Gaza are powerless in the face of the huge numbers of wounded and are trying to differentiate between cases to save their lives with the limited clinical, medical, and human resources available.
He stated that during the past hours, the Israeli occupation forces committed 17 horrific massacres in all areas of the Gaza Strip.
Al-Qudra pointed out that the continuing shortage of childhood vaccinations in the Gaza Strip worsens the health situation of newborn children, especially in shelter centers. “We call on the concerned authorities to work immediately to provide them and make them reach all areas of the Gaza Strip.”
