AhlulBayt News Agency: The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) in the state of Mauritania.
The director of the Center for African Studies of the Department, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that "the council was attended by Sheikh Mohammed Fal, and highlighted the virtues of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) and her blessed biography, and presented examples of her knowledge, eloquence and wisdom, in the presence of a gathering of followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
He added that"the council comes to commemorate the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and to explain important aspects of their lives, especially the oppression of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her)".
For his part, Sheikh Mohammed Fal explained that " the conclusion of the council witnessed the performance of the Ziyarat of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) and other imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), pointing out that "the oppression of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), especially preventing her from her inheritance and depriving her of the land of Fadak, is considered an oppression of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)".
