AhlulBayt News Agency: The death toll from Israeli bombardments in the Gaza Strip has risen to 19,453 martyrs, mostly women and children, the health ministry in the embattled coastal enclave stated on Monday.
In a news conference, spokesman for the health ministry Ashraf al-Qudra said that the number of the wounded climbed to over 52,286 people.
Spokesman Qudra added that the Israeli occupation army committed 16 massacres within the last 24 hours, including an attack on Nasser Hospital that killed a wounded girl child, who already lost her legs in a previous Israeli attack.
The spokesman added that 151 martyrs and 313 wounded civilians were transported in the past hours to different hospitals, especially from Jabalia where hundreds of casualties were reported following Israeli attacks on homes.
He also pointed to the massacre that was committed by the Israeli occupation forces at Al-Shifa Hospital today, saying that 28 civilians were martyred and dozens were injured in two Israeli strikes on the facility and its entrance.
