AhlulBayt News Agency: Cheikh Kanté, the special advisor to the president of Senegal, visited the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) in Qom, Iran.
He toured different parts of the mausoleum and learned about its history and architectural features, according to the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine.
During the visit, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mukhtar Hosseini, an international expert at the Astan, explained about the character and virtues of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) and her lofty status among Shia Muslims.
Cheikh Kanté has traveled to Iran for talks with senior officials of the country on development of bilateral cooperation in various fields.
