AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Libya hosted a three-day international conference on Quranic sciences this week.

The faculty of literature of the Islamic University of Al Saied Mohamed Bin Ali Al Sanussi organized the event on December 6-8, according to Al-Wasat website.

Scholars and researchers from different Arab and Islamic countries presented papers in Arabic and English on the Quran’s eloquence and its linguistic aspects.

Moving toward better studying Balagha (eloquence) and linguistics was the theme of the conference.

It also featured honoring Quranic scholar Mohammad Tayyib Khatib for his services and efforts to promote the Arabic language and Quranic sciences.

In recent years, there have been many efforts in Muslim countries to promote Quranic sciences, especially those relating to the language of the Holy Book.
