AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian says the Israeli regime, which claims to have the fourth strongest military in the world, is “still in shock” from the Al-Aqsa Storm operation by the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.
Addressing a group of university students at Tehran University on Saturday, Amirabdollahian pointed out that even US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had acknowledged the compromised position of the Israeli regime when he visited the occupied territories early in the Gaza war.
He further said that Operation Al-Quds Storm not only shattered the Israeli security apparatus, but the whole structure of the occupying regime.
"In Operation Al-Quds Storm, Israel collapsed, and not just its security apparatus. Seven security services, operational around the clock with the latest equipment, were active, but Hamas dismantled everything," he noted.
Amirabdollahian said that Americans have urged Iran in private messages to ask the resistance groups to stop attacks on US bases in the region.
He added that Iran has responded that these groups operate independently and make their own decisions.
Iran’s top diplomat further emphasized that the United States and the Israeli regime do not have a clear strategic plan for either continuing the war or negotiating a ceasefire.
