AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Two officers with Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) who served as military advisors in Syria have been martyred in Israeli airstrikes on the Arab country.
The IRGC’s Public Relations office released a statement on Saturday confirming that two IRGC officers, identified as Mohammad-Ali Ataiee Shourcheh and Panah Taghizadeh, were martyred during their advisory mission in support of the Islamic resistance front in Syria at by the Zionist aggressors.
Their sacrifice vividly demonstrates that the redline of martyrdom remains alive, and the followers of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), wholeheartedly offer their lives on the path of defending Islam, Muslims and dignity, the statement added.
The Israeli regime has ramped up its attacks on what it believes to be resistance positions in Syria since it launched the ongoing devastating war on the Gaza Strip in early October.
