AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani says the Zionist regime must accept defeat as its inevitable fate, noting that in the war between the Gaza children and Israeli missiles, it is definitely the children who win.
“The Zionists must accept that in the war between children and missiles, it is definitely the children who win,” Bagheri Kani said during a media meeting at the Iranian embassy in Bangkok, Thailand.
He also said holding a referendum is the ultimate solution to the Palestinian issue.
“A referendum among all the Palestinian people, including the current residents of the occupied territories and other Palestinians living around the world, to determine their fate and to determine their desired governance mechanism, is the only democratic solution in accordance with international criteria, and most importantly, it is a sustainable solution,” he added.
Israel waged a bloody war on Gaza on October 7 that has so far killed at least 14,532 Palestinians, including at least 6,000 children and 4,000 women.
It came after Hamas launched a surprise attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the Zionist regime on October 7 in retaliation for the regime’s occupation and crimes against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
On Wednesday, the two sides announced a ceasefire, which went into effect on Friday morning.
