AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Moussa Abu Marzouk, a prominent member of Hamas’s political bureau, said that the temporary truce between the group and Israeli occupation forces would enter into force on Thursday at 10 a.m.

The Palestinian Maan news agency quoted Abu Marzouq as saying, “Most of the hostages slated to be released have foreign citizenship. The occupation is inhumane and we imposed on it the entry of aid to the entire Gaza Strip.”

He added that the ceasefire would be four days, which could be extended, and 50 Zionist prisoners held by Hamas would be released in exchange for the release of 150 to 300 Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons.

Earlier today, The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas announced that it had reached a humanitarian truce deal with the Israeli occupation for a duration of 4 days, following difficult and complex negotiations for many days.

“A four-day humanitarian truce has been reached between Hamas and the Israeli occupation under Qatari and Egyptian mediation,” the Palestinian Resistance Movement announced in a statement early on Wednesday morning.

“Under the agreement, hundreds of trucks for humanitarian, relief, medical aid and fuel will be brought into all areas of the Gaza Strip without exception,” the statement read.

“The agreement includes the release of 50 Israeli detainees, women and children, in exchange for the release of 150 Palestinian women and children, under which the free movement of people from north to south along Salah al-Din Street is guaranteed,” according to the statement.
