AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli regime’s intense airstrikes on the Gaza Strip has reached 14,532 on the 47th day of the onslaught on the besieged territory, according to the latest figures released by the Government’s Media Office there, with women and children making up most of the casualties.
The office released the figures on Wednesday, saying that the toll includes 6,000 children and 3,920 women. It said that more than 7,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, remain unaccounted for.
Also on Wednesday, the Israeli regime announced the death of one of its soldiers in ground fighting in Gaza, which brings to 72 the number of Israeli troops so far killed in the ground operation. The death also brings to 392 the total number of Israeli soldiers killed since the war began.
