AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Arbaeen Walk and the pilgrimage of Sayyed al-Shahada have become a magnificent scene of expressing devotion to the family of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, inviting all the freedom seekers of the world, with the help of Hussain ibn Ali, peace be upon him.
The text of Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi's message to the third gathering of cultural, research, media and virtual space activists is as follows:
In The Name of God
First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to all those involved, presenters, and officials who played a role in organizing the glorious Arbaeen ceremony, as well as to the officials of the Arbaeen headquarters in Iran and Iraq, and I hope that this conference will also achieve its desired goals.
Speaking of the deep love of the advocates of Seyyed al-Shuhada, peace be upon him, which is clearly manifested in the pilgrimage of Arbaeen, is beyond this message, but it should be noted that in this age, the walk of Arbaeen and the pilgrimage of Seyyed al-Shuhada, peace be upon him, is a magnificent scene of expressing devotion to the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) family. His innocence and purity, peace be upon him, and the announcement of his acquittal from the oppression of the oppressors, and the invitation of all the freedom seekers of the world, have become the consolation of Hussain ibn Ali, peace be upon him.
However, this unique walk may be accompanied by damages, which the task of following up in some ways is the responsibility of cultural activists, especially activists in the field of cyber space, so I would like to draw your attention to a few points:
1. Paying attention to the spiritual and mystical dimensions of Arbaeen is very important. The wisdom of the pilgrimage of the holy infallible, peace be upon them, in addition to glorifying and honoring them, is to pay attention to the spiritual aspects of the pilgrimage and the special position of the Imam (PBUH). Also, the pilgrimage with correct knowledge and understanding should be adorned with the rituals and conditions of the pilgrimage.
2. Sometimes the cultural difference between the two Shiite countries of Iran and Iraq may cause some damage, so it is good for cultural activists to try to minimize these misunderstandings by providing information and raising the level of awareness of both parties.
3. The Arbaeen Walk is a popular ceremony and it was created based on the love and passion of those who are interested in the movement of martyrs, therefore it is necessary to preserve the popular aspect of this ceremony and people should recognize that ceremony as their own and try to promote it. Of course, it is essential for official and government institutions in both countries to make serious efforts to facilitate affairs and help popular programs.
4. The current and future generations are exposed to many intellectual and ideological dangers, while many young people participate in this ceremony and witness the grandeur of this ceremony, the sacrifice and self-sacrifice of the servants of Seyyed al-Shahada has a significant impact on their minds and hearts. It strengthens their resistance against temptations and deviations and provides a very suitable platform for promoting the religious awareness of these loved ones and for the institutionalization of the correct and pure Shiite thought in their existence, which should be made the most of with proper planning.
Once again, I would like to appreciate all the organizers, guests, and participants in this event, and I pray to the Almighty God for the success of the pilgrimage and intercession of Seyyed al-Shahada (PBUH) for all his lovers, and I hope that he will place us all among his sincere servants.
