AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Two celebrated Palestinian volleyball players, Hassan Abu Zuaiter and Ibrahim Qusaya, have lost their lives in an Israeli attack on Jabalia Camp in the Gaza Strip.
The duo, who were not just representatives of the national team but also integral members of the Al-Sadaka Club, were caught in the indiscriminate nature of the Israeli airstrikes.
The West Asian Volleyball Association took to its Facebook page to mourn the untimely demise of Zuaiter and Qusaya. The association highlighted their significant contributions to beach soccer and their participation in the Asian Games, thereby underlining the profound loss to the sporting world.
The death toll of Palestinians from Israeli attacks since the start of the conflict is more than 11,500, while over 29,000 others were injured.
