Israel's aggression on Gaza, West Bank claims lives of 11,360 Palestinians so far

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Monday that the number of Palestinians who were killed by Israel has jumped to 11,360 as a result of the ongoing aggression since October 7th and until last Sunday evening in the Gaza Strip, while the number of wounded has reached 28,200.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Monday that the number of Palestinians who were killed by Israel has jumped to 11,360 as a result of the ongoing aggression since October 7th and until last Sunday evening in the Gaza Strip, while the number of wounded has reached 28,200.

It indicated that among the dead were 4,609 children, 3,100 women, and 678 elderly people.

In the West Bank, the number of slain Palestinians rose to 180, and the wounded to 2,700, as of Monday afternoon.

The ministry explained in its daily report, which covers the period from October 7th until Sunday evening that it's difficult to collect information with the loss of communication, but it stated that 3,250 citizens are still missing or under the rubble, including 1,700 children.

It said that six premature babies and nine patients in Al-Shifa Hospital died because fuel ran out and hospital departments were out of service as a result of it being directly targeted and besieged.

The Ministry of Health recorded the death of 202 health personnel and 36 members of the Civil Defense, while more than 130 were wounded, as 60 ambulances were damaged, including 53 that were completely out of service.

The number of hospitals out of service has now reached 25 out of 35 hospitals in the Gaza Strip, and 53 out of 72 primary health clinics, due to running out of fuel or bombing.

The health ministry said that the bombing operations around Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City intensified since November 11, as vital infrastructure was targeted, including the oxygen station, water tanks and well, cardiovascular department facilities, and the maternity ward, noting that three nurses were killed, adding that while many displaced people and some staff and patients were able to exit, others remained trapped inside, afraid to leave or physically unable to do so.

15 patients died inside Al-Shifa Medical Complex due to the outage of electricity and medical consumables, including six newborn babies.

The sick and wounded cannot reach Al-Shifa Medical Complex, whereas many of them lost their lives either due to bleeding or because they did not receive any medical intervention, as there is no drinking water or food in the hospital for neither the patients nor the staff, in addition to what they are suffering from.

10,000 oncology patients who were being treated at Al-Rantisi and Al-Turki Hospital are at risk of death, after the occupation expelled them from the hospitals.
