On the sidelines of the joint meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League in Riyadh, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi met with Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, and stated that the two countries have great mutual capacities to develop relations with each other, stating, “Relations and cooperation should be expanded based on mutual needs”.
The President continued by expressing hope that the issues raised in today's meeting will lead to the cessation of the terrible crimes of the Zionist regime, and added, “The Zionist regime has left a track record of crimes against humanity and genocide, which is condemned in everyone's conscience before being tried in international courts”.
Dr Raisi stated that the countries that were in favour of surrender and compromise and were conservative towards the Zionist regime, are regretful today, even if they do not express this feeling, and stated, "The failure of the Zionist regime against the resistance will not be compensated in any way”.
He emphasised, “The Zionist regime is America’s child, so in today's meeting, I pointed out the destructive role of America and emphasised that America is a accomplice in all these crimes”.

In this meeting, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, stated that the obstructions of some countries cannot prevent the development of relations between Tehran and Kuala Lumpur, and said, “I have formed a committee to follow up on issues related to the two countries, including issues related to bilateral relations like the signing of a trade agreement, and follow the holding of the joint commission of the two countries”.
The Prime Minister of Malaysia emphasised that the countries that support the Zionist regime should stop their support to this regime, and stated, “The axes of today's statement of the Gaza support summit, especially the sending of humanitarian aid through Rafah, should be fully implemented”.
