AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The first joint meeting of Urdu-speaking clerics and clerics of the Indian subcontinent was held in the Lady Masuma Holy Shrine (PBUH), and in this meeting, the centrality of Qom in spreading the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt as well as the necessity of synergy among the clerics of India and Pakistan around the axis of Qom seminary were discussed.
The first joint meeting of Urdu-speaking speakers was held in Lady Masuma Holy Shrine and scholars invited from India and Pakistan gathered together under the auspices of the Department of International Affairs of Lady Masuma Holy Shrine.
At the beginning of the meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Jahangiri, an expert of the International Affairs Department of Lady Masuma Holy Shrine, stated that Urdu language programs have been held continuously in the Holy Shrine for 12 years, adding,” during this period, due to the efforts made by Urdu-speaking students and the position of the Court of Lady Masuma (PBUH) In the minds of the Urdu-speaking people of the Indian subcontinent, it has been promoted and there is room for improvement.”
Also, in this meeting, Seyyed Hussain Naqvi, one of the prominent scholars of Pakistan, stated that Qom is the center of Shiism and it is stated in the traditions that the sciences of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) spread from Qom to other parts of the world.”
Seyyed Zakir, one of the scholars of India, considered it necessary to create a relationship and unity between Shias and Shia clergy in different regions and said,” partial work in this field is not fruitful and several meetings should be held at specific time intervals so that opinions are closer and a synergy is formed.”
Stating that seminaries should come together to hold joint meetings and invite influential personalities to these meetings, he said,” In the past, some Kashmiri scholars accused us that you are against the Kashmir revolution, but by holding joint meetings, we became close friends and this is one of the blessings of such meetings.”
This scholar from India further noted,” For the unity of the Shia communities, everyone should follow a single theory, and that is the theory of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) including the Velayat al-Faqih, which has been well implemented in Iran.”
Also, in this meeting, it was emphasized to hold meetings of Urdu-speaking scholars before the month of Muharram and Ramadan, so that all preachers work with a common goal and theme and strengthen the influence of their speeches.”
