AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): 134 Palestinian NGOs and unions have called on the Bahraini parliament to "pressure the Bahraini government to contribute to stopping the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and to support them in their current battle against the brutal occupation that commits the most heinous international crimes against our people."
In a letter to the Bahraini parliament, the Palestinian organizations and unions said that "Arab countries that have concluded normalization agreements with the occupying power, especially the surrounding countries, must respond to popular demands to sever their relations and agreements with the colonial occupation state."
They appealed to the Bahraini House of Representatives to "intensify diplomatic work and pressure until the immediate cessation of the genocide and aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and to demand the Egyptian government to open the Rafah crossing and allow humanitarian aid to enter all areas of the Gaza Strip unconditionally, including water, food, medications and other life necessities."
They also called for "freezing economic relations by announcing the cancellation of all normalization relations, the complete cessation of the current Bahraini-Israeli agreements and cooperation with the occupying power, and the demand for the closure of the embassy."
