AhlulBayt News Agency: The representative of the Hamas resistance movement in Iran deplored the silence of Arab and Muslim countries’ rulers on the continued massacre of Palestinians in Gaza by the Zionist regime.
“Why are you silent,” Khaled Qaddoumi wondered, adding that their silence today has no justification before God.
He was addressing a ceremony held in Tehran on Saturday to mark the National Day against Global Arrogance.
The participants in the ceremony, mostly university and high school students, highlighted their strong support for Gaza and the Palestinian people in the rallies.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Qaddoumi condemned the United States’ support for Israeli crimes, saying the people of Gaza are being slaughtered by Israel with the green light from the US.
The Zionists have killed more than 9,000 of the defenseless people of Gaza, he stated, adding that most of those killed in the Israeli aggression are women and children.
Qaddoumi stressed that the people of Palestine are defending the first Qibla of Islam (AL-Aqsa Mosque).
He went on to say that the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, which Hamas launched on October 7 against Israeli in response to the Zionist regime’s violence against Palestinians and desecration of their sanctities, harbingers the “Spring of Victory” with the grace of God.
As Israel’s genocidal air attacks on the Gaza Strip continue, the death toll has exceeded 9,200, including 3,826 children and more than 2,405 women. At least 23,516 people have been wounded in the attacks.
