AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): While honouring the memory of the precious martyrs of the Islamic Revolution and the oppressed martyrs of Gaza, the President said that the security and authority of the country today owes to the blood of the martyrs and the efforts of the armed forces and said, “Today, in the shadow of this security and also the exemplary unity of Shia and Sunni in Kurdistan, the people of the province can think of an advanced Kurdistan”.
Following the plans of the first day of the provincial visit of the Popular Administration to Kurdistan province, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi met and talked with a group of families of the martyrs of this province.
In this meeting, while honouring the memory of the precious martyrs of the Islamic Revolution and the oppressed martyrs of Gaza, the President said that the security and authority of the country today owes to the blood of the martyrs and the efforts of the armed forces and said, “Today, in the shadow of this security and also the exemplary unity of Shia and Sunni in Kurdistan, the people of the province can think of an advanced Kurdistan”.
Referring to the growth and development of Kurdistan province in production, science and culture, Dr Raisi said, “Enemies and ill-wishers, who did not tolerate this growth and development of Kurdistan, targeted the security and unity of the province with conspiracies and sedition in last year's riots, but the people Kurdistan disappointed the enemies once again with empathy and unity”.
The President described the families of the great martyrs as the raised flags of sacrifice and martyrdom in different parts of the country and emphasised the necessity of conveying the message of the martyrs to the ages and generations, especially the young generation of the country.
In another part of his speech, Dr Raisi referred to the heinous and horrific crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza and said, “Today, the blood of the oppressed martyrs of Gaza has awakened human consciences and confirmed the principled positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the righteousness of the oppressed people of Palestine and the criminality of the usurper Zionist regime. We have no doubt that faith will definitely win in the battle with arrogance”.
