The book "Islamic Science Information Representation (Principles, Methods and Approaches)" by Seyyed Taghi Wardi, which was prepared in the Institute of Islamic Information and Document Management of the Institute of Islamic Sciences and Culture and was published in 351 pages.
Islamic sciences, like other human sciences, in terms of production, reproduction, storage and publication (both written and electronic), are faced with the increase of content and accumulation of text every day. But this accumulation without management is not as effective and desirable as it should be.
Information management is a process in which indexing plays a central role. Although this process is seen in other human sciences and mechanisms are defined for it, it has not been paid much attention in Islamic sciences.
The upcoming research "Islamic Science Information Representation: Principles, Methods and Approaches" tries to review Islamic science indexing from various aspects and provide it as a research and educational document to scholars and indexers.
