In a statement released on Saturday, October 28, 2023, Al-Wefaq Society strongly condemned the Bahraini regime's unwavering commitment to its ties with the occupying entity, highlighting the deep-rooted and consequential relationship between the two regimes. This comes in the aftermath of 21 harrowing days of bloodshed, marked as an act of extermination and one of the cruelest and most brutal chapters in the contemporary history of warfare against an Arab Muslim nation.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In a statement released on Saturday, October 28, 2023, Al-Wefaq Society strongly condemned the Bahraini regime's unwavering commitment to its ties with the occupying entity, highlighting the deep-rooted and consequential relationship between the two regimes. This comes in the aftermath of 21 harrowing days of bloodshed, marked as an act of extermination and one of the cruelest and most brutal chapters in the contemporary history of warfare against an Arab Muslim nation.

Al-Wefaq expressed its dismay at the regime's apparent disregard for the overwhelming consensus among the populace, which has persistently called for the annulment of the normalization agreement with the foreign entity, the severing of diplomatic relations, and the expulsion of its diplomatic staff.

Al-Wefaq went on to say that despite the global community witnessing the sheer horror of what has been taking place, with the Bahraini regime turning a blind eye to the bloodshed, the massacres, and the heartbreaking images of innocent children and women's bodies being torn to shreds by the Zionist arrogance and relentless brutality, the regime remains obstinate. Furthermore, it provocatively taunts not only the Bahraini people but all Arab and Muslim nations, as well as the free world, with actions that affirm its unwavering commitment to a strategic alliance with the enemy.

Al-Wefaq firmly asserted that the continuation of relations and agreements with the occupying entity, despite the dire circumstances, effectively makes the Bahraini regime a direct accomplice in all the heinous crimes and massacres being perpetrated. It emphasized that the Bahraini people have no stake in any steps taken by a regime that lacks true representation or a popular mandate.

Al-Wefaq made an impassioned call for the restoration of the Bahraini people's dignity and the reclaiming of their sovereignty. It underscored the urgent necessity of permanently nullifying the normalization agreement, ensuring that Bahrain's decisions emanate directly from its own people who stand in solidarity with Palestine and Gaza, and are willing to provide unwavering support and assistance.
