AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iranian security forces have arrested 19 elements of the terrorist group Mojahedin-e Khalgh Organization (MKO) in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan.
Sistan and Baluchestan’s Intelligence Department and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps’s Intelligence Organization announced the news in a joint statement on Monday.
According to the statement, in recent months, the MKO has been actively involved in foreign spy services’ attempts to destabilize Iran on the first anniversary of riots across the country.
It added that the Iranian security forces, in a series of joint intelligence and operational measures, identified a vast network of the MKO terror group and arrested 19 of its elements in Sistan and Baluchestan.
