Sheikh Zakzaky: Israeli airstrikes on Gaza sign of its inability to confront resistance

Top Nigerian Shia cleric Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky said the Israeli airstrikes against civilians in the Gaza Strip show the Zionist regime’s inability to confront the Palestinian resistance.

Ahlulbayt News Agency: Top Nigerian Shia cleric Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky said the Israeli airstrikes against civilians in the Gaza Strip show the Zionist regime’s inability to confront the Palestinian resistance.

Addressing a gathering of Islamic seminary students in Mashhad, northeast Iran, held to condemn the Zionists’ atrocities in Gaza, Sheikh Zakzaky said that facing the resistance and solidarity of Palestinians, the Israelis have resorted to bombing civilians and killing innocent children in Gaza.

He also hailed the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation for shattering the image of the Zionist regime’s invincibility.

He said through unity and solidarity, Muslims will soon see the sweet outcomes of resistance and achieve victory.

The Al-Aqsa Flood Operation was carried out by the Hamas resistance movement against Israel on October 7 in response to the Israeli atrocities in occupied territories and its violations of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

It included missile attacks on occupied cities and ground assaults on settlements near Gaza. That operation plus retaliatory missile strikes by Palestinian resistance groups left hundreds of Israelis dead.

Sheikh Zakzaky has traveled to Iran for medical treatment and is on a trip to Mashhad to visit the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).
