AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian held discussions with his South African counterpart, Naledi Pandor, over the ongoing situation in Palestine.
As part of his phone talks with his counterparts from different countries, the top Iranian diplomat discussed the latest developments regarding the situation in Palestine as well as mutual ties with the minister of international relations and cooperation of South Africa.
Pandor expressed her hopes for a swift resolution to the tensions, saying that South African authorities continue talks with the United Nations officials in a bid to find a appropriate solution to halt the clashes in the Gaza Strip.
Amirabdollahian also held a phone conversation with Ireland's Foreign Minister Michael Martin on Monday night, when the two sides discussed the escalation of the Zionist regime’s attacks on civilians in Gaza.
