AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A conference titled "Meaning of Life from Imam Khomeini and Mahatma Gandhi's point of view" was held by the representative of Al-Mustafa International University at Delhi University, India.
A conference titled "The meaning of life from the perspective of Imam Khomeini and Mahatma Gandhi" was organized in cooperation with the Farsi department of Delhi University in cooperation with the representative of Al-Mustafa University in India.
In the opening ceremony of this conference, Hujjat al-Islam Reza Shakeri, the head of the representative office of Al-Mustafa International University in India, mentioned the personality and great achievements of Late Imam Khomeini (RA) and Mahatma Gandhi, and said,” these personalities were both great leaders of the world and they freed the people from domination of the West and saved their civilization and culture. The life of both was simple and far from luxury. Mahatma means Holy Spirit. It is interesting that one is the spirit of Allah and the other is the holy spirit.”
Dr. Idris Ahmad, director of Ghalib Institute, New Delhi, the guest of honor, and Dr. Iraj Elahi, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi, the special guest of this conference and explained the importance of this conference. Also, Professor Latif Hussain Shah Kazemi, Director of the Philosophy Department of Aligarh Muslim University, India, and Hojjat al-Islam Athar Jafari gave a speech.
In this conference, Syed Hamid Al Hassan Zaidi Sitapuri and Syed Ali Hashim Abedi, graduates of Al-Mustafa University, and a group of professors from various Indian universities presented their articles in Persian, Urdu, English and Punjabi languages.
