AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran's President described the proud Operation Al-Aqsa Flood as a great security, military and intelligence scandal for the Zionist Regime and stated, "This victorious operation and the unity and cohesion observed among the resistance forces promises greater victories and proves that victory over the declining Zionist enemy is attainable.
Speaking in the meeting of the cabinet on Sunday afternoon, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi referred to the courageous and victorious operations of the Palestinian warriors in the occupied territories and congratulating the Palestinian nation on this victory, saying, "What we are witnessing today in Palestine is the fulfilment of God's promise and the result of acting based on a strategy that emphasises that what forces the enemy to retreat is not compromise and surrender, but standing".
The President described the proud Operation Al-Aqsa Flood as a great security, military and intelligence scandal for the Zionist Regime and stated, "This victorious operation and the unity and cohesion observed among the resistance forces promises greater victories and proves that victory over the declining Zionist enemy is attainable.
In another part of his speech, the President mentioned the earthquake in Afghanistan and expressed his sympathy to the families who suffered in the disaster, and added, "The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to send humanitarian aid to the neighbouring country".
Dr Raisi further congratulated the Police Week to all security forces in different regions of the country from cities and villages to the borders of the country, and honoured the memory of the martyrs of the country's security and called on the officials of Police Headquarters to prioritise preventing the occurrence of crime as well as organised crimes.
The President referred to the official start of the construction of the Aras Crossing on the border of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan, and by emphasising the need to accelerate the completion of this project, he considered its use to improve the level of economic and commercial interactions and exchanges between the two countries as well as the countries of the region.
He said, "Regional issues should be resolved through the dialogue of regional countries and without the interference of outsiders".
In this meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs also presented a report on the victories of the Palestinian resistance movement and stated that the goals of this operation were to effectively counter the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque, support the Palestinian people and draw the world's attention to the unhealed wound of the Palestinian occupation.
At the end of today's meeting of the cabinet, the governor generals of Semnan and Bushehr presented a report on the quality of the implementation of the government's plans and programs in the provinces where they are assigned, as well as the level of implementation of the provincial travel resolution of the Popular Administration.
