AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Head of the Islamic association of China said the Muslim scholars promote the culture of tolerance which is a basis of Islam and promote coexistence between the Muslim and non-Muslim community in the country.
Jo Ping Ma, in his address to the opening session of the 37th Islamic Unity Conference hailed the efforts of the Muslim clerics in line with promoting the culture of tolerance and desegregation.
He referred to more than three centuries of Islam in Chin and said,” Islam entered China in the first six decades and turned into a major faith in the country.”
Jo Ping Ma also referred to efforts by Confucius to prevail his principles in China though Muslims also introduced their religious beliefs according to the holy Qur’an.
Head of the Islamic association of China addressed the 37th Islamic Unity Conference held in Tehran on Sunday morning.
The 37th Islamic Unity Conference is underway in the capital Tehran as a number of Shia and Sunni scholars attend the webinars and the meeting to be held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought. This year the elites and religious figures attending the event discuss the theme “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values”. The conference is held on 28th September to 3rd concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week which marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
