AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In his visit to Kenya, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, was welcomed by Dr. Jafar Barmaki, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Nairobi, and some of the cultural and religious figures of the country.
Also, attending the Iranian Embassy in Nairobi, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly emphasized the need to increase scientific and cultural relations between Iran and Kenya.
In this meeting, Dr. Barmaki, while referring to the study of a number of Kenyan youths at Al-Mustafa (p.b.u.h) International University in Qom, stated, “AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University can also allocate a greater share to African students, and take advantage of the opportunities available in Kenya to introduce the university.”
In his visit to Kenya, in addition to meeting with cultural and religious figures of the country, Ayatollah Ramazani visited some religious centers of Kenya, and participated in the conference “Muslim Youth: Faith, Science, Technology, and the Future of Africa.”
