Hujjat-ul-Islam Mousavi Nejad, religious scholar from Afghanistan, in his address to the eighth webinar of the 37th Islamic Unity Conference related on the factors behind the critical situation challenging Muslim world.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Hujjat-ul-Islam Mousavi Nejad, religious scholar from Afghanistan, in his address to the eighth webinar of the 37th Islamic Unity Conference related on the factors behind the critical situation challenging Muslim world.

He said,” The problems that have plagued the Islamic society today are due to the negligence of the Muslim scholars.”

The cleric referred to the Muslim rulers as the second factor behind the weakness and failure of the Islamic world and said,” Some rulers and politicians should be scrutinized for sacrificing all their religious and national values to lusts and sensual desires.”

He expressed regret that the qualification has been taken from the first-rate scholars of the Islamic world, who presume themselves to be literate and noted,” Today, the Islamic society is under the control of a few brainless, illiterate and ignorant people.”

What can we do to get out of the vicious cycle of the events that the Islamic world will come to its senses, the scholars will feel responsible and fulfill the duty that Allah has assigned to the scholars?

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mousavi Nejad expressed his views in an address to the eighth webinar of the Islamic Unity Conference 2023.

Held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Muslim scholars and religious figures from across the globe exchanged views on the issues challenging the world of Islam in the 37th Islamic Unity Conference (IUC). Participants also discussed the theme of this meeting “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values.” The event is the climax of the Islamic Unity Week that marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
