AhlulBayt News Agency: The general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held an annual condolence Council in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him).
The council was organized by the Public Speaking Division for al-Hussayni Preaching at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine within the Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) preaching project.
The mourning Council began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, and then the Husseini preacher; Sheikh Abu Zeinab Al-Amari, addressed in his lecture various aspects of the biography of Imam al-Askari (peace be upon him), his sacrifices and his role in defending Islam.
The council concluded with the reading of Lamentations and poems about this painful tragedy, which left great sadness and great pain in the hearts of those present.
The council is held in the morning starting from today, Friday, for three days in the holy courytard of the Lord Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine was keen to continue its spiritual role in the holy city of Karbala and beyond, by preparing a condolence and service program to commemorate the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and remind of their sacrifices.
