AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A coalition of 27 political groups and societies in Bahrain underlined their opposition to normalization of ties between Manama and Tel Aviv.
They described normalization with the Zionist regime as dangerous to the interests of the Bahraini and Palestinian nations as well as the entire Muslim Ummah, Sadi al-Aalam website reported.
The coalition, named Initiative against Normalization of Ties with Zionist Regime, issued a statement on the third anniversary of the signing of the so-called Abraham Accords.
It reiterated support for the Palestinian people who are standing up to the Zionist regime’s occupation and are trying to liberate their lands.
The people of Bahrain are categorically against normalization and consider it giving a privilege to the enemy will embolden it to continue its crimes against the Palestinian nation, the statement added.
The coalition called on the Manama regime to sever all ties with the Zionist regime.
It also urged the people of Bahrain to keep up their support for the Palestinian people.
In September 2020, Israeli regime’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu signed rapprochement agreements, known as the so-called Abraham Accords, with Emirati Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al Zayani, during an official ceremony hosted by former US president Donald Trump at the White House.
