Every year millions of pilgrims choose Tariq al-Ulama for walking in order to participate in the Arbaeen Hussaini (PBUH) huge gathering. Tariq al-Ulama is the greenest and oldest Arbaeen walking route to Karbala, which is about 90 kilometers long. Tariq al-Ulama is located next to the Euphrates River and passes through the Najaf groves.
