AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A university delegation from Ghana met with Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi while attending the central organization of Al-Mustafa International University.
Hujjat al-Islam Ali Abbasi, Dean of Al-Mustafa International University, while welcoming the academic guests of Ghana, expressed hope that this trip will be effective in increasing scientific and academic cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Ghana.
The Iranian cleric went on to introduce Al-Mustafa International University and referred to the education of tens of thousands of students and scholars from more than one hundred and thirty nationalities in this scientific center, and stated,” As an international university and a member of prestigious university unions, Al-Mustafa offers its courses in two methods inducing in person and virtual courses.”
Referring to the signing of more than 300 scientific memorandums between Al-Mustafa University and scientific centers and universities in Iran and other parts of the world, he said, "Al-Mustafa organizes some other fields in cooperation with other universities, in addition to its main courses, according to these contracts an example of which is the establishment of Nursing University in Sierra Leone in cooperation with Iran University of Medical Sciences. We hope to be able to initiate this activity in the Islamic University of Ghana in the future.”
At the end, Hujjat-ul-Islam Abbasi emphasized the necessity of cooperation between developing countries and stated,” Some powers of the world are trying to impose a sense of helplessness and lack of independence on all nations.
