AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A group of Friday Prayer Imams from different regions of Nigeria met and talked with the leader of the Islamic movement of Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky.
A group of Friday imams of Nigeria met and exchanged views with Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement of this country, at his residence in Abuja on Saturday, September 1.
While welcoming and expressing his satisfaction with this meeting, Sheikh Zakzaky pointed out the importance of the Friday prayer and the need to promote and encourage people to perform it, especially among the Nigerian youth, and added,” the establishment of the Friday prayer as an Islamic religious-political obligation by the Ahl Al-Bayt (PBUT) is highly recommended.”
The leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria further spoke about the content of Friday prayer sermons,” sermons should be delivered in simple and understandable language, instructive and sincere about the issues of the day and affecting the society, and Friday Prayer Imams should answer their religious doubts in the language of the day without any distance from the people and be justified.”
It should be noted that people present in this meeting were Friday and congregations Imams from different regions of Nigeria including Sufis, Sunnis and Shiites.
