AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iranian troupe has performed Tazieh – a religious performance in commemoration of Imam Hossein (AS) – at Islamic centers in six cities of the European countries for the second consecutive year.
The Tazieh titled Imam-e Raoof (Kind Imam) was directed by Hassan Basiri, produced by Ami-Mohammad Davoudipour and played by a group of performers from Iran and Afghanistan during the first 10 days of Muharram – the first month of the Islamic year, IRNA reported on Saturday.
The performance of Tazieh was held in Sweden’s Stockholm and Malmo, Denmark’s Copenhagen, Belgium’s Brussels, Netherlands’ Rotterdam, and Finland’s Helsinki.
Such a religious performance did create an opportunity for enthusiasts of Ahlul Bayt – families of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) – to get familiarized with braveness of Imam Hossein and his companions.
The 10th day of Muharram is called Ashura that is a day when Imam Hossein and his companions were martyred in Karbala in 680 CE.
