AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Explaining the most important actions and achievements of the Popular Administration, the President stated, "Despite the repeated plots of the enemies to stop the production and the growing movement of the country, the government is trying with all its might and with the help of all institutions of the country to solve the problems, and thank God, today the Islamic Republic is stronger and enemies are weaker than ever".
On Monday morning, Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani, one of the grand maraji, had a meeting with the President, and by brilliantly describing the records of Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi in various responsibilities, thanked the services and efforts of the government, and the ceaseless and tireless efforts of the President himself, especially in provincial trips and foreign relations.
Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani also stressed the need for the government to pay more attention to the weak and low-income groups and eliminate discrimination in the country, and also emphasised the need to deal with economic problems and increase the value of the country's national currency.
He continued by emphasising the importance of explaining the actions and achievements of the Islamic Revolution, describing disappointing the people as the enemy's strategies and deemed it necessary to avoid it.
In this meeting, while presenting a report on the actions and activities of the government during the past two years, the President also referred to the 12 problems plaguing the country before the start of the administration's work and said, "The government started its serious work the day after taking office, with serious determination and relying on the deep belief that "we can", day and night to solve the problems and was able to overcome many of these problems in the first six months".
Dr Raisi listed the alignment of the government's resources and expenditures in the first year of activity as one of the most important and unique achievements of the government and added, "Today, with the help of God and the hard work of the government, economic growth of 4 percent has been achieved, more than 5 thousand closed and semi-closed factories have returned to production, the unemployment rate has reached its lowest level in the last few decades with the figure of 8.2".
The President also listed the balanced foreign policy, multilateralism, relations with neighbouring countries, especially Islamic countries, and the significant growth of foreign trade as other important measures and achievements of the government and stated, "Despite the efforts of the enemies and their repeated conspiracies to stop production and move towards the growth of the country, the government is trying with all its might and with the help of all the institutions of the country to solve the problems and some imposed bottlenecks, and thank God, today the Islamic Republic is stronger than ever and the enemies are weaker than ever".
