Ahlul Bayt News Agency: Visitors heading to Holy Karbala to commemorate the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussain (peace be upon him) continue their march in the al-Deer district in the northern province of Basra.
Sheikh Ali Layedh al-Abadi, one of the residents of the District, said that " crowds of visitors on foot arrived at the al-Deer District yesterday, Saturday, and they continue to march towards the Holy Karbala despite the high temperatures, to participate in the revival of the ceremonies of the Ziyarat Arba'een and to extend condolences to Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her)".
"The Husseini processions in the district, which are spread on all roads, offer their services to visitors, provide them with all amenities, and the people of the city open the doors of their homes for receiving them, and their children trush to get the honor to serve visitors,"he added.
The visitors arrived at the al-Deer district in the north of Basra Al-Fayha governorate, coming from the Ras Al-Bisha area, covering a distance of (200 km), while they will travel a distance of (450 km) approximately to reach the Holy Karbala.
The city of Basra is the southernmost point in Iraq from which visitors, joined by the people of the southern and Central Provinces respectively, set off to participate in the commemoration of the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
