AhlulBayt News Agency: The division of Sayed Servants at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine performed the Ziyarat on behalf of more than (237) thousand visitors from inside and outside the country during the holy month of Muharram.
The Ziyarat was conducted for those who registered their names on the Al-Kafeel Global Network (the official website of the holy shrine).
The official of the information technology and networks division of the media department of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Haidar Taleb Abdul Amir, said, "the number of registered visitors in the Ziyarat by proxy page of the Al-Kafeel Global Network and its application on smartphones, reached (237,303) visitors from inside and outside Iraq, for whom the Ziyarat was performed during the month of Muharram".
He added that"the work of the Ziyarat this month, especially during its first ten days this year, witnessed an increase in the programs prepared to commemorate this occasion, and the division of Sayed servants at the holy shrine were honored to perform it, and as a result of this, the turnout was large compared to last year, in terms of numbers and countries".
"Most of the registered were from the following countries: (Iraq, Sudan, UAE, Yemen, Qatar, Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Tunisia, Iran, Lebanon, Pakistan, Russia, USA, UK, India, Sweden, Canada, Malaysia, Australia, Germany, Iceland, Austria, Greece, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Afghanistan, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Switzerland, Nigeria, Ghana, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, France, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Finland, China, Ireland, Hong Kong, Japan),"he said.
Abdul Amir explained that "the work continued over the course of a whole month and concluded on the first night of the month of Safar, with the performance of the special Ziyarat of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), in addition to praying two Rak'ahs and supplications in this holy place. The registration was on the website of the Al-Kafeel Global Network and in languages (Arabic, English, Urdu, Turkish, French, Persian, Swahili and German)".
