AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): On Monday, August 7, 2023, the Superintendent of the
Thai Muslims and the representatives of the Sheikh-ul-Islam of Thailand met
with the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in the meeting
hall of the Assembly in Tehran.
In this meeting, after welcoming the guests, referring to the place of Hajj in Islam, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “Imam Baqer (a.s.) said in a hadith, “One of the pillars on which Islam is built is Hajj.” To interact and solve problems, Hajj creates an international relationship between Muslim nations.”
“Muslims gather in Mina and the best interactions can be formed between them,” he added, “However, the common enemies of Muslims do not tolerate such a gathering, and they do not allow unity to be fully formed among Muslims.”
“Our view towards Muslims is based on the hadith “A believer is the brother of a believer”, on the pillar of love and the approach of cooperation and synergy. On the other hand, unity among the Muslim Ummah is our belief and strategy, and not a temporary and short-term tactic,” said the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly regarding the importance and necessity of unity among Muslims.
“Today, Muslims, both nations and governments, need to use their cultural, social, and political capacities more than in the past. Combining these capacities shows the great authority and power of Muslims against (global) arrogance. The late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) said, “If the Muslims were united, each of them would pour a bucket of water, it would flood Israel. We believe that if Muslims were together in the field of economy, they could form the biggest economic power. Also, all religious leaders and Muslims must be vigilant so that the enemy cannot infiltrate our society in any way,” he emphasized.
In another part of his speech, Ayatollah Ramazani said about the objectives of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The Assembly seeks the development of rationality, spirituality, and justice in the world, and follows this literature and intellectual and practical line in all its work fields.”
Explaining the achievements and activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, he said, “WikiShia virtual encyclopedia operates in 22 languages, and ABNA News Agency operates in 26 languages. Students from 29 nationalities are studying at Ahl al-Bayt International University. So far, Assembly has published 2 thousand research works in 58 languages.”
