AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The people of Niger came to the streets once again, coinciding with their political efforts to solve the crisis in their country, protested against France and the US.
On Sunday evening, the streets of Niamey, the capital of Niger, were once again filled with Nigerians, especially the youth, who chanted slogans in support of the country's new and military rulers.
By condemning the Western media's approach to covering this country's new social and political developments, the Nigerian protestors emphasized that they continue to fight against French and American imperialism.
The people of Niger once again emphasized the withdrawal of French troops from their country and the complete independence of Niger.
At the same time as the demonstration was held, an Islamic delegation from Nigeria traveled to Niamey and met with General Abdulrahman Chiani, the head of the transitional council of Niger, and Ali Muhammad Lamina Zain, the newly appointed prime minister of the country, and the two sides discussed the solution to the Niger crisis.
The delegation is trying to prevent the possible military intervention of the community of West African countries with the support of France and America in Niger through mediation.
Also, the difference between the ECOWAS (The Economic Community of West African States) member countries and the widespread support of the people for the new rulers of Niger has prevented collective and unified decision-making against the African country.
The daily demonstrations of the people of Niger in support of the new political developments in this country have upset the political equations of France, America, and ECOWAS for possible military action in Niger.
