AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Sheikh of Al-Azhar, in response to the letter of the head of Iran’s Seminary, emphasized on dialogue among scholars with the aim of creating unity and avoiding the factors of sedition and differences.
Hawzah News Agency- In response to Ayatollah Arafi's letter about insulting the Holy Quran, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb Grand Mufti of Al-Azhar emphasized,” We ask all Arab and Islamic nations to continue boycotting Swedish and Danish goods in support of God and the Holy Quran.”
In a statement published by Al-Azhar's official website, it is stated, "Al-Azhar has received the letter of the head of Iranian seminaries, Ayatollah Arafi, expressing his appreciation for Al-Azhar's position on insulting the Holy Quran.”
In this letter, it is emphasized that Al-Azhar is determined to promote Islamic dialogues with the presence of religious scholars from all over the world from various religions and sects to strengthen unity and closeness in order to put aside the division, strife and discord.”
Al-Azhar has also emphasized that it will deal with anyone who tries to insult Muslims and their holy things, and that it is their responsibility to support religion and deal with insulting it, and in defense of Al-Azhar's achievements in the field of peace, tolerance, and human brotherhood, Dialogue among religions will not fail.
Al-Azhar asked all Arab and Islamic nations to continue boycotting Swedish and Danish goods in support of God and the Holy Quran and asked all the free people of the world to join this call and support them if they fail to take a firm stand against these crimes will encourage them to continue these crimes and support these societies that have made materialism their goal.
