Now, it is necessary for the elders of Islam to take a new position in this matter in order to prevent the repetition of such bitter events.”
Senior cleric Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani issued a message in response to the continued insult to the Quran for the third time in which he said,” It is a pity that this practice is still going on despite all these condemnations and reactions. Now, it is necessary for the scholars of Islam to take a new position in this matter in order to prevent the repetition of such bitter events.”

In The Name of God
Once again, an evil hand desecrated the Holy Quran in Sweden and burned this holy book in front of the embassies of Islamic countries.
Even though the supreme authorities and presidents of Islamic countries and political figures and even the head of the United Nations have condemned this act, Governments of Sweden and Denmark have not yet woken up from this evil dream and have repeated the insult!
It is a pity that until now, despite all these condemnations and reactions, this practice still continues.
Now, it is necessary for the elders of Islam to take a new position in this matter in order to prevent the repetition of such inhumane events.
Unfortunately, these acts have been carried out with the full support of the police.
