AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Senior scholar Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani issued a message while condemning the repeated insult to the Holy Quran and asked the officials to take decisive action in this regard.
Top Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani condemned the repeated desecration of the Holy Quran and called for decisive action by the officials of the diplomatic system to prevent this inhumane act.
The text of the message is as follows:
In The Name of God
Regrettably, the insult to the Holy Quran continues, and it is even sadder that the international organizations did not take any practical action and only issued a simple statement; the country where the crime was committed first authorized this insult and then apologized to the protestors.
Without a doubt, we do not consider insulting the sanctities of heavenly religions to be permissible and strongly condemn such acts, and we ask the organizations and leaders of Islamic countries to take a serious decision as soon as possible to prevent and deal with this crime.
It is also necessary for the officials of the diplomatic system of the Islamic Republic of Iran to try and follow up faster on this matter.
