AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): During the mourning ceremony on Tasua night in Qamar
Bani Hashem Hey’at, Tehran, Ayatollah Mohammad Hassan Akhtari stated, “Keeping
alive the dedication and sacrifice of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and his faithful
companions is one of the most acceptable, worthy, and favorite traditions before
Almighty God, the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), and the Infallible Imams (a.s.). These
rituals, elegies, and speeches gain value when sincerity, faith, and belief in
the goal and path of Hussain (a.s.) are seen in them.”
“After the Ashura mourning days of Imam Hussain (a.s.), by evaluating our soul, we should see how we have changed, and how much these mourning days have been influential for us,” stated the CEO of the Ashura International Foundation.
“From God’s point of view, the division of society is not based on race, color, clothes, or even based on science and knowledge. Rather, it is only based on the value of man himself and his actions,” said the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“There is no difference between men and women in the mourning ceremony of Tasua and Ashura of Imam Hussain (a.s.) throughout Iran. Just as God does not differentiate between men and women in terms of principles and values, He also does not differentiate between men and women in responsibilities. In such a way that he questions both his prophets and the society and ummah to which the prophets were sent,” added the CEO of Ashura International Foundation.
“One of the issues that should be taken into consideration in Ashura and the incident of Imam Hussain (AS) in Karbala is that Imam (a.s.) had chosen a group of good, worthy, pious, and faithful people from different classes and strata. This is not a coincidence. Rather, he wants to show that in the path, responsibility is not on a specific group. The Imam brought both the old men and the six-month-old child to Karbala. Hazrat Ali Asghar (a.s.) was a living and valuable witness of Karbala. This shows that even an infant has contributed to the support of truth and Islam. Women also played an essential, key, and guiding role in the Karbala and Ashura of Imam Hussain (a.s.),” Ayatollah Akhtari said.
“Women of Islamic society should pay attention to their Islamic, cultural, educational, and even their political role. Today, in Western and non-Muslim societies, the culture of vulgarity, obscenity, and animal freedoms is promoted because they (women) have no hope and no place there. They (Westerners) do not value humanity,” stated the CEO of Ashura International Foundation, referring to the position and sensitive role of women in society.
“Western governments that have established human rights organizations, such as the United Nations, Human Rights Watch, and other numerous cultural and social institutions, do not value humanity at all. They lie. All these organizations are tools in the hands of oppressors and global imperialism. Children and women are massacred in Yemen; in Africa, millions of people die from starvation and disease; but it doesn’t matter to these organizations, and they don’t do anything for them,” expressed the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Why do Westerners oppose Islamic Iran?” Ayatollah Akhtari asked, and added, “They know that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution awakens the people and makes them vigilant and makes the talents flourish so that many scientists are trained. Today, Iran has taken over what the enemies thought should be theirs only.”
