In a speech he delivered on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, marking the beginning of the Ashura season, Sheikh Al-Daihi stressed that "the memory of Ashura returned this year to renew all the meanings of sacrifice, redemption, giving and pride."

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Deputy Secretary-General of Al-Wefaq Society, Sheikh Hussein Al-Daihi, stressed that "the goal of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) was nothing but the restoration of the true Mohammedan Islam," pointing out that "the revolution of Imam Hussein is a revolution of righteous against falsehood, and Imam Hussein did not accept to live under the tyranny of oppressors, but challenged the enormous military force with his determination and solid doctrine and achieved victory." Al-Daihi praised "the vitality of the Bahraini people and their determination to obtain their legitimate and just rights tirelessly, but with Husseini determination and steadfastness."

In a speech he delivered on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, marking the beginning of the Ashura season, Sheikh Al-Daihi stressed that "the memory of Ashura returned this year to renew all the meanings of sacrifice, redemption, giving and pride."

He added that "Karbala has never been a memory for a particular group or sect, but it is for every seeker of truth, justice and freedom, and it is a memory for all humanity because of its high human, heavenly and missionary values, entitled goodness, reform and justice, and therefore sacrifice and redemption were for the sake of upholding the word of truth."

He continued: "We stand today to stress in this anniversary the phrases of the revolution in letters of courage and spirit of steadfastness to talk about the values and goals of Imam Hussein's revolution, which does not die or rest, the flag that flutters in the sky of justice, freedom and dignity."

"The revolution of Imam Hussein is a revolution of righteous against falsehood, the voice of the weak who reject humiliation and tyranny, it is a message that sends hope in the hearts of the oppressed and moves them to rise and do their duty," Al-Daihi stated. He recalled that "Imam Hussein did not accept to live under the tyranny of the oppressors, but challenged the enormous military force with his determination and solid doctrine, and then blood triumphed over the sword."

He pointed out that "the values of Imam Hussein's revolution are reflected in justice, equality and the rejection of arrogance and injustice; it is a revolution that carries a great humanitarian message, as Imam Hussein rose to achieve justice, restore the stolen right and put an end to tyranny and injustice that was pervading the earth."

He indicated that "the goals of Imam Hussein's revolution are manifested in the liberation of the soul and sacrifice, as he sacrificed the dearest things on earth," noting that "the goal of Imam Hussein was nothing but the restoration of true Islam, the authentic Mohammedan Islam and spreading his lofty values in society, not the Islam of Muawiya and Yazid, the Islam of the tyrants, it is the revolution of reform and change, a revolution that does not know the impossible and breaks all restrictions."

Sheikh Al-Daihi pointed out that "the revolution of Imam Hussein teaches us patience and steadfastness in the face of adversity and afflictions, and teaches us that success does not come easily, but requires sacrifices and a firm determination to fight for freedom and justice. That's why we learned that the revolution is not just a quick uprising, but a long march that needs determination, belief and strong faith."

He stressed that "the revolution of Imam Hussein is a revolution that overcomes fear and despair, a revolution that does not know surrender and does not yield to the restrictions of injustice, it is a revolution that teaches us to make every day in our lives like the tenth day of Muharram, a day of victory for the right, liberation and restoration of dignity."

"It is a revolution of humanity and tolerance, a revolution that combines worship and work, a revolution that inspires future generations with the spirit of steadfastness and sacrifice, so what we need today is the revolution of Imam Hussein and its lofty values in light of the deterioration of situations and the spread of injustice and corruption in the world. Today, we need to renew the pledge to the values and goals of Imam Hussein's revolution."

Sheikh Al-Daihi called for "promoting the spirit of revolution within our hearts and in our work and behavior and rebuilding societies on the foundations of justice, equality and integrity, so let's convey the message of Imam Hussein to the whole world and be a voice for the weak and oppressed to achieve the change we aspire to."

"We were and still are inspired by the greatest lessons from the Karbala school, especially in the crises that we have experienced in this world and from which nations and peoples suffer. From the Karbala school, we learned the art of dealing with crises, managing it, and being able to overcome it, and even overcome all difficulties and challenges with the highest levels of faith."

"This is how the conflict was in the face of tyranny, injustice, enslavement and victory for the rights of the vulnerable. We take our words and our deeds from Hussein and we learn from him the lessons of the revolution against injustice and support for the oppressed."

Sheikh Al-Daihi stated that "our Islamic nation is experiencing many challenges, especially with regard to the moral, political, humanitarian and cultural aspects, such as the heinous crime committed against the Holy Qur'an by an extremist supported by the Mossad, as well as the challenge of confronting the projects of homosexuals and bisexuals who even want to have a presence in our Muslim and Gulf countries."

He also highlighted "The issue of Islamic unity and the need to work on strengthening and developing it being the most successful way to confront all schemes of hegemony, tyranny and political and moral corruption."

"Our peoples, who are living crises, cannot be oblivious to the issues of the nation, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, where the wave of normalization has posed a new challenge that should be faced with concerted efforts by all forces from different countries to develop a movement against it and to thwart all efforts to liquidate the Palestinian cause."

Sheikh Al-Daihi spoke about the issue of the people in Bahrain, "who face a bad political, financial and administrative corruption, the consolidation of individual domination, the monopoly of wealth and the marginalization of the people, in light of the opening of prison doors and the suppression of freedoms throughout all these years." He considered that "the crises that occurred in Bahrain confirmed the reality of Bahrain's need for comprehensive political reform through a consensual constitution that puts an end to the extension of the hands of political repression in the country, which has violated rights and freedoms, impoverished the people and caused their identity to be targeted."

He praised "the vitality of the Bahraini people and their determination to obtain their legitimate and just rights tirelessly, but rather with determination and steadfastness of Hussein."

While stressing that "the revolution of Imam Hussein is a source of inspiration for generations", Sheikh Al-Daihi called for "honoring, respecting and appreciating his sacrifices and noble goals by making these goals a beacon for us in our daily lives, through which we practice justice, humanity, dedication and patience in every situation we face and live. This is one of the most prominent manifestation of this year's slogan "Your word we follow".

Sheikh Al-Daihi concluded his speech by calling for "raising the slogan of Imam Hussein's revolution high and working for the establishment of a world of peace, justice and love. It is the message of Imam Hussein's revolution, which should be translated into action and practice."
