AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Pointing to the importance of book reading and its effect on improving society's culture, Grand Ayatollah Mazaheri stated,” promoting and spreading book reading and creating a context for people's easy access to valuable books is a common duty.”
Director general and officials of public libraries of Isfahan province met with Ayatollah Mazaheri on Sunday, July 16 in his office.
In this meeting, Grand Ayatollah Mazaheri emphasized the importance of books and reading and its effect on improving the culture of the society, and elaborated on the necessity of promoting the culture of reading in Iran and said,” promoting and expanding the culture of reading books and creating grounds for people's easy access to valuable books is a duty.”
He described the institution of libraries as an influential institution in promoting reading and added,” One of the ways to make people familiar with books is to expand public libraries and equip them with useful and rich books.”
