AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has declared the beginning of the Umrah season.
The Ministry said that Saudi citizens and residents, as well as PGCC citizens and residents, can obtain the required permits through the Nusuk or Tawakkalna apps.
The Ministry also said that it welcomes the Umrah pilgrims from outside Saudi Arabia and that it has started issuing the electronic visa for Umrah.
The e-visa for Umrah can be applied for from the Nusuk platform, the Ministry said, adding that the pilgrims will start arriving on the first day of Muharram month of 1445 AH.
It also aims to improve the services offered to them, in line with the objectives of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
The Ministry has launched Nusuk and Tawakkalna apps as part of its duty to serve the pilgrims by enabling them to get the necessary permit to perform the Umrah, visit the Rawdah Sharif at the Prophet's Mosque, according to the capacity approved by the relevant authorities.
This is to ensure a safe and spiritual environment, while achieving regulatory controls in coordination with Tawakkalna app, to verify the health status of the permit applicant.
