Iran's Islamic Revolution is following “Ghadir”: Interior Minister

Iran’s Interior Minister said: Iran's Islamic revolution has emerged after centuries following the “Ghadir” incident.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran’s Interior Minister said: Iran's Islamic revolution has emerged after centuries following the “Ghadir” incident.

Ahmad Vahidi in a conference titled Ali (AS), the standard and role model of Islamic governance, added: Ghadir has a high position, and this fact is seen in the holey Quran.

He noted: In the past few days and at the same time as the Ghadir festival was held in Iran, foreign media had different reactions.

Vahidi clarified: The effort to isolate these important movements continues and holding Ghadir is not less important than the “Ashura” event, if not more important.

Vahidi emphasized: "Knowing about Ghadir is urgent and necessary. Our youth must find their true identity by knowing about “Ghadir” so that they are safe against the enemy's plots."

Following the conference, Hossein Zarif Manesh, the CEO of Ghadir International Foundation, referring to the slogan of Ghadir celebration with the title of Imam Ali (AS), the standards of life and role model of governance, added: Ghadir has come to tell us how to obey.

He added that we should set Imam Ali (AS) and his government as role models for life because Ghadir is the plan of Islam for managing society.

Pointing to the importance of celebrating Islamic occasions, he said: According to the leader of the Islamic revolution, these occasions, are the days of raising awareness.

Eid al-Ghadir is an Islamic commemorative holiday and is considered to be among the significant holidays of Shi'ite Muslims. Eid is held on 18 Dhul-Hijjah at the time when the Islamic prophet Muhammad was said to have appointed Ali ibn Abi Talib as his successor.
