AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran’s Foreign Minister has met with his Palestinian counterpart, denouncing the ground and aerial offensive of the Zionist regime against the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.
Hossein Amirabdollahian and Riyad al-Maliki met on Thursday on the sidelines of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit in Baku.
During the meeting, Amirabdollahian urged the international community, especially the United Nations, to take immediate and effective measures against the Zionist regime’s inhumane actions.
He said the Islamic Republic and the Fatah movement have long-standing relations, voicing Tehran’s seriousness to support the Palestinian resistance and unity among Palestinian groups to counter the gruesome actions of the Zionist regime.
Maliki, for his part, said the recent aggression by the Zionist regime would have garnered worldwide outcry if it happened in any other place.
He also said the Zionist regime has no red line in its acts of aggression against innocent Palestinians.
At least 12 Palestinians were killed, including four children, as a result of a ground and aerial offensive launched on Monday morning by the Zionist regime targeting Jenin and its refugee camp.
